By accessing or using the website at orcuttinsulation.com (the "Site"), or by engaging Orcutt Insulation ("we," "us," or "our") for insulation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.
These terms apply to all visitors to the Site and to all customers who request, schedule, or receive services from Orcutt Insulation.
Orcutt Insulation is a licensed insulation contractor based in Orcutt, CA. We provide residential and commercial insulation services including, but not limited to, spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related services throughout our service area.
Services are performed by licensed, insured, and bonded professionals. All work is subject to the terms set forth in a written estimate or service agreement provided to you before work begins.
Estimates provided by Orcutt Insulation are based on a visual assessment of the work area and the information you provide. An estimate is not a guarantee of final price. The final price may vary if conditions are discovered during the course of work that were not visible or disclosed at the time of the estimate - such as existing damage, inaccessible areas, or required code upgrades.
Any changes to the scope of work or price will be communicated to you before additional work proceeds. We will not perform work beyond the agreed scope without your authorization.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Once a service appointment is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover crew scheduling and material preparation costs.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, crew availability, or material delays. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to reschedule and will work to find the earliest available alternative time.
Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or service agreement. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins for larger projects. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless other terms have been agreed to in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you prior to scheduling. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late payment fee. We reserve the right to pause or halt work on a project if payment for a prior phase is overdue.
Certain insulation projects in Orcutt and surrounding communities require a building permit from Santa Barbara County or the relevant local authority. Orcutt Insulation will advise you on permit requirements for your specific project and, where required, will handle the permit application process on your behalf.
All permitted work will be performed to meet applicable California building codes and energy standards. You agree to provide accurate information about your property and to allow reasonable access for inspections by the relevant authority having jurisdiction.
Orcutt Insulation stands behind the quality of our work. If a defect in workmanship is identified after a completed project, contact us promptly and we will evaluate the issue and make it right at no additional charge, provided the issue is directly related to our installation and was not caused by subsequent alterations, misuse, or acts outside our control.
Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the terms of the respective manufacturer. We will provide you with relevant product documentation upon request.
We make no warranty that any insulation project will achieve specific energy savings figures or reduce utility bills by a stated amount. Energy outcomes depend on many factors beyond insulation alone, including HVAC condition, home usage patterns, and utility rates.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orcutt Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or from your use of this Site - including but not limited to loss of income, business interruption, or property damage not directly caused by our crew during the performance of contracted work.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to services performed shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
