Orcutt Insulation was founded in 2020 right here in Orcutt, California. The business started with a straightforward idea: homeowners in the Santa Maria Valley deserve an insulation contractor who actually knows the local housing stock and climate - not a regional franchise that sends whoever is available.
Orcutt has a wide range of homes. There are older ranch houses near Clark Avenue built in the 1960s and 1970s with little to no wall insulation. There are newer subdivisions like Rice Ranch where the builds are more recent but still benefit from upgrades. And there are crawl spaces throughout the valley that draw in coastal moisture overnight and need proper sealing to protect floors and framing. We have worked on all of them.
Since 2020, we have built our reputation on doing the job right the first time - pulling permits when required, walking homeowners through the finished work, and staying available when questions come up after the job is done. We now serve 12 communities across Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, and most of our new customers come through neighbors who have already hired us.
Every project we take on is backed by our California contractor license, general liability insurance, and bonding. You are protected before a single crew member steps through your door.
We tell you what the job involves, what it will cost, and when it will be done - in writing, before work begins. No surprise add-ons, no vague estimates that balloon once the crew shows up.
We know the older ranch houses near Clark Avenue, the crawl spaces that collect coastal moisture overnight, and the newer subdivisions on the east side. That local experience shapes every recommendation we make.
When the job is finished, we clean up and walk you through what was installed. You can see the coverage yourself - or see photos if you prefer - so you know exactly what you paid for.
We hold a valid California contractor license. Every job we take on meets the state licensing requirements for insulation work, including permitted projects reviewed by Santa Barbara County.
We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage on every job. If anything goes wrong while our crew is at your home, you are not left holding the bill.
Our bonding provides an additional layer of financial protection for homeowners. We are happy to provide proof of bonding and insurance before any work begins - just ask.
